I think the deep blue colour contrasted with the white is what makes this badge so visually appealing. I just wish that all the contingents had gone with the "theme" badge or none of them had. The size, shape and use of the mountain silhouette were part of the event badge/logo and since I am who I am, I like things to line up nicely. If all the provincial contingents had used the same "theme" then they would make a nice set. As we have already seen however, most provinces went with unique designs.
Anyway, I like this badge and someday I might actually visit up north.
