United Nations peacekeeper badge.
I believe I got this while working at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC. I was there for the summer between third and fourth year university and was employed in the support section of the military attache's offices. I worked for a couple of non-commissioned officers who were really great guys. They were in charge of supplies like uniforms and distributing printed materials to Canadian servicemen all around the United States.
If I remember correctly this came off a returned tunic from someone who had served in Cyprus. Hundreds of Canadian soldiers served in Cyprus in the 20th Century. Canada eventually withdrew after decades but the island is still divided.
