This is one of my big badges and probably a gift from my dad. At least I don't recall trading for such a huge badge and we did live in Dartmouth - well, actually Halifax County (now all joined together as Halifax Regional Municipality) where I was in the Cole Harbour group.
In looking up the links for this badge I discovered that this group not only still exists but they are still meeting in the same school as when I was there around 1980-81. My most vivid memory of meeting there was the day I was helping with the cub pack and I threw a dodge ball which hit the fire alarm and set it off. I was never so mortified in front of a group.
