I believe this was the neighbouring district/area when I was in 2nd Cole Harbour.

The last of my five stars.  

Day 122: Bruges

Brugge in the native Flemish, this was our favorite town in Belgium.   

Day 121: Reader Badge

The easiest badge I ever earned.  

Day 120: Mont St Michel

I did Normandy the other day but for me the only thing in Normandy was Mont St Michel.  

Day 119: Garry Oak

This Garry Oak badge was actually one I got at the Canadian Jamboree - hence tagged as both local and CJ'81.  

Day 118: Blue Star

The Blue star is from the "Home and Community" activity area.  

Day 117: Normandy

Or Normandie if you are Francais.  

Day 116: Personal Development

The Scout Personal Development badge.  

Day 115: Interior Region

The old BC Interior Region badge.   

Day 114: Outdoor Skill Award

The current version of this award is (I think) the outdoor skill award. I don't remember if that was the name when I earned it as a Scout.

Day 113: Driffield

You cannot get more old-school heraldic than this badge from Driffield, a part of Humberside Scouts in East Yorkshire.

Day 112: St Goar

A lovely town on Rhine, St Goar was the first place we stopped and camped in Germany on our trip.  

Day 111: Skater Badge

There must have been pretty low standards for the skater badge when I was a Cub.  

Day 110: Juan de Fuca

One of the local Scouting groups based out of Colwood.  

Day 109: Rothenburg

The full name of this delightful German town is Rothenberg ob der Tauber. 

Day 108: San Diego Zoo

What a fabulous Zoo!  

Day 107: 1st Newtonville

I have no idea where this badge came from.

Day 106: Ontario

The Province of Ontario badge from my time living in Ottawa. 

Day 105: Personal Interest

Another Venturer Badge: Personal Interest.

Similar to the Scout Badge, I received this when I was invested as a Venturer.

Day 101: Team Player

A badge from my time as a Scout, the team player.

Day 100: Modeller's Badge

I didn't really pick this badge for the 100th in particular but I do like it.  

Day 99: Stretford

A wonderful classic English-style badge from Stretford. 

Day 98: Basin Lakes District

Probably the cheesiest "contingent" badge from CJ and perhaps my favorite.  

Day 97: Musician's Badge

I played trumpet, well actually cornet, in grade six and earned the Musician's Badge. 

Day 96: Chester Anniversary

A badge that combines two things I like: Scouting and Romans. 

Day 95: Kub Kar Rally 2007

This is one of the Kub Kar rallies I have gone to since becoming a leader. 

Day 94: Fish and Wildlife

Probably my favorite activity (well, top three anyway) from the World Jamboree.  

Day 93: Brown Star

OK, I guess officially it is "tawny" star but everyone I know says "brown".

I remember doing apple day as a cub in Ottawa.

The only event I remember attending with the 5th Arbutus Venturer Company other than the World Jamboree of that year.

Day 88:Fort Clatsop

Fort Clatsop National Historical Park in Oregon was our first stop on our big family road trip a couple of summers back.

Day 87: Woodbadge II

I just completed my Woodbadge II course this past weekend and received not only my necker and beads but a badge for my blanket. 

Day 86: Team Player

I always wondered why or how the North American-style football was chosen to represent the Team Player badge for cubs. 

Day 85: Scottish Scouting

I always find it odd when a flag is depicted on a badge.

A crest sent to me as a boy by my relatives living in Whitehorse.
