Day 126: Camp Barnard 2007

This giant-sized beauty was created for Camp Barnard for the centennial year.
This is one of the many "100" series of badges that flooded Greater Victoria that year and is one spectacular badge.

We bought one for each Cub that year and gave them out at the end of a camp. One badge was specially altered by me with the addition of a small brass charm sewn over one of the fireworks. That badge was given to the cub who earned the most "points" for good behaviour (or something like that) over the course of the weekend.  I think we should do that again. It gives a tangible, low-cost yet high-value reward that makes what I think is a big-ish deal of good behaviour.
