We were there as part of our grand road trip in 2008. We only had one day and with three kids we were only able to see the highlights.
I had been there with my parents back in the 1980's for a family trip to Disneyland and it was even better than I remembered. Sadly Disneyland was about the same as I remembered. Still nice and lots of fun for sure. I am not suggesting it is a horrible thing but I was pleasantly surprised that the San Diego Zoo was better than my memories.
