It was probably similar in ancient times (ie: the late 70's). I probably have a camping and cooking badge in my pile somewhere but honestly I have no idea what I did to earn this star. I had my old copy of the Cub Book - the one with the campfire and the guy playing guitar on the front - but I think that got recycled years ago. It was probably so long ago that it was not actually recycled - GASP - yes kids, we used to just throw paper in the trash.
No wonder that Indian used to cry beside the highway.
