At this event I was not participating as a leader or as a parent (although I did drop my daughter off as she is a Beaver). I was actually there in my capacity as a member of VicLUG.
My friends and I build with LEGO and our club has amassed a collection of bricks which we can provide for youth events and have done so at at least two (soon to be three) of these Beaveree events.
Of course, I made sure to get a badge for my blanket and the 250-300 young kids that came through our station seemed to have a good time.
