This unit of the Canadian Army existed between 1977 and 1995. The motto translates as "We dare" which is an answer to the motto of the British Special Air Service "Who Dares Wins" motto and who also use a winged dagger badge (although the SAS dagger is pointed down).
I admire these units for their training and dedication and also loved the look of the badge when I picked up this badge at a surplus store as a youth.
