Day 52: Mississauga

Another nice badge traded for but a place I have fond memories of.

My favorite Aunt and Uncle lived in Mississauga when I was a kid. We would drive down from Ottawa where we lived and spend weekends there several times a year. They had a wonderful house in an interesting neighbourhood only a block off the 401. A recliner chair and a cable converter box made Saturday mornings at Edith and Ken's are a part of some of the happiest memories I have of my childhood.

The badge itself is very nice. I love the bright blue colour and while it uses a native motif at least is something different. I think it is a peace pipe and tomahawk crossed in the middle. Looks like they are still using this badge in Mississauga Scouting.
