Part of our kit for the World Jamboree was an ugly yellow jacket with the WJ crest and this flash sewn above it on the breast.
The jackets were very practical windbreakers and able to - if I remember correctly - protect from a light rain. I used mine for many years but the horrible colour embarrassed me back when I thought it mattered. Now my rain jacket is a deep orange and I like that is it visible, not fashionable.
When it finally gave up the ghost I took the badges off since they were almost new as I they only came out on rainy days and I was not sloshing around in mud or grime.
