Finally an old badge from my uniform that is different than the current one!
If oriented as a square rather than a diamond is really a big difference from the current badge.
This has to be the exception to the rule of maps making great badges. OK, at least it has Vancouver Island which is often left off maps at this sort of scale but PEI and Cape Breton Island will feel hard done by I think.
