The source of many of the badges I will be sewing on: the 15th World Jamboree which was held in 1983 in Kananaskis Country, Alberta, Canada.
The crest is a very nice geographic portrait of the area. It pretty much looked like this to me - although I don't remember wheat so much as long grass.
I was a member of the Whiskey Jacks, a patrol made up of mostly fellow members of the 5th Arbutus Venturer Company. We were all a part of a "troop" made up of Venturers (and possibly senior scouts, I don't recall) from all over the Greater Victoria Region.
