BC Parks celebrated its 100th birthday on March 1, 2011. This date marked the 100th anniversary of the creation of the very first provincial park in British Columbia – Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island. - BC Parks Website

Brugge in the native Flemish, this was our favorite town in Belgium.   

Day 120: Mont St Michel

I did Normandy the other day but for me the only thing in Normandy was Mont St Michel.

A lovely town on Rhine, St Goar was the first place we stopped and camped in Germany on our trip.

The full name of this delightful German town is Rothenberg ob der Tauber.

What a fabulous Zoo!

Day 88:Fort Clatsop

Fort Clatsop National Historical Park in Oregon was our first stop on our big family road trip a couple of summers back.

Day 61: Monterey Bay Aquarium

The best aquarium I have ever visited located in Monterey Bay, California.

Day 46: Vancouver Aquarium

Thank you Vancouver Aquarium for having small, reasonably-priced souvenirs alongside expensive stuffed animals and t-shirts.

Day 40: WILU 2004

An obscure, non-scouting event and not even a real badge but a work of art.

Day 35: Grand Canyon Railway
