Technical Glitch

When I go away for the weekend camping I have to do more than just upload the pictures. I also have to set the posts to publish.

This explains why a bunch of past days entries will actually be appearing this afternoon as I fix what I thought had already been done.

Day 64: Halifax Region

Day 63: Canada

Part of our kit for the World Jamboree was an ugly yellow jacket with the WJ crest and this flash sewn above it on the breast.

Day 62: Special Service Force

The winged dagger of the Canadian Special Service Force.

Day 61: Monterey Bay Aquarium

The best aquarium I have ever visited located in Monterey Bay, California.

Day 60: Green Star

Another of the five stars available when I was a Cub. Green Star today is the Outdoor Activities section of the Cub Book.

Day 59: Greece

Nicely coloured but oddly designed badge of Greece.

Day 58: Alberta Contingent

Alberta did a nice job of taking the basic CJ'81 badge theme and make something unique.

Day 57: Year of the Scout

The other day I did the 2007 anniversary badge and this one popped out of the "to do" bag today.

A very unusual badge from Pennsylvania featuring natural scenery and birds.

Another nice badge traded for but a place I have fond memories of.

My favorite character from the Jungle Book and my first "name" as a Cub Leader.

Not as clearly identifiable as Nova Scotia, the British Columbia (& Yukon) badge is still a nice badge.

Day 48: Surrey

Collected @ WJ'83 is the badge of Surrey - the one in England, not the city in the Lower Mainland of BC.

Day 47: Manitoba Contingent

The Manitoba contingent badge from CJ'81. 

Day 46: Vancouver Aquarium

Thank you Vancouver Aquarium for having small, reasonably-priced souvenirs alongside expensive stuffed animals and t-shirts.

Day 45: Citizenship Badge
